Control Under Pressure: Delivering for F1
April 17, 2026 •
Precision logistics delivered under pressure at a world-class event.
When the world’s fastest event comes to town, there’s no room for slow logistics. Behind the scenes, success depends on precision, planning, and execution under pressure. This is how PFM delivered when timing wasn’t flexible.
The Challenge
With the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, everything moves fast — on track and behind the scenes.
PFM was tasked with delivering over 20 refrigeration units across a live event site within a strict 4-hour window. The environment was high-pressure: heavy foot traffic, restricted access, and zero margin for error.
There were no second chances. Every delivery had to land exactly as planned, or risk disrupting event operations.
Our Approach

This wasn’t about moving fast — it was about staying in control.
PFM coordinated the entire operation as a single, unified movement. From site access and delivery sequencing to precise placement of each unit, every detail was mapped out in advance.
The team worked with intent, ensuring each unit was delivered, positioned, and ready for use without disrupting the flow of the event.
No delays. No reactive decisions. Just clear planning and disciplined execution.
The Result

All units were delivered and installed within the 4-hour window, exactly as required.
No disruption to event operations. No missed placements. No rework.
Just a seamless, coordinated delivery under pressure, proving that when the stakes are high, execution isn’t optional. It’s everything.
