QLD - TROPICAL CYCLONE ALFRED UPDATES

05/03/2025

Dear Valued Customer,

Tropical Cyclone Alfred is forecast to make landfall Thursday night into Friday morning, with damaging wind gusts, storms, and heavy rainfall expected to impact a large warning zone spanning Queensland and NSW. The current warning zones listed by BOM includes cities and towns from Double Island Point to Grafton, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and Ballina.

Due to announcements that major roads and bridges may be closed as of Thursday 6 March 2025, and the safety concern for our staff, we’ve made the decision to cancel all services out of our Brisbane branch for Thursday 6 March and Friday 7 March 2025.

Further information on the status of our QLD and Northern NSW services for week commencing 10 March 2025 will be provided over the coming days to ensure customers remain informed. Please ensure all service updates from the PFM team are shared with your customers and relevant team members within your organisation.

Please note that our customer service team is located in our Brisbane Head Office, and with the cyclone hitting Brisbane and possibly affecting power and resources, our customers may experience delays in responses or contact with our customer service team. Should access to the customer service team be compromised, please reach out to local operations teams in our other depots across the country to handle queries and escalations.

Please refer to the PFM portal for any further information on the service schedule or delivery dates. If you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager or the Customer Service team.

PFM Corp values your business and appreciates your patience, support and understanding during this time.

Kind Regards

Brendon Bateman
Chief Operations Officer (COO)
